LAB305 bus boy, St Pat’s day,

So many things to chat about today on the little show: a cute Korean boy; St Patricks hypocracy in the gay world; fibre optic cables; old friends; the fattness of Daniel Brewer; old, single, people (like me); and the impending arctic winter!

I love winter; don’t you?
I’m playing some kool toons behind my speaking this episode. Love it!

LAB304 diksee chix, London memories + iPad3

Inspired by George in Atlanta, I cast my mind back to Christmas 1998, in London.
Somehow this all relates to the Dixie Chicks! ;-)

I must get fit… there’s a lot of huffing and puffing in this recording! :-(

>> I bought an iPad3 @ Dick Smith yesterday… Sam Sparro says, “I’m still hungry”. Do U agree?

Thanks for listening. I appreciate it!
Thanks for the blog comments too.

LAB171 down The 39 Steps before Les Miserables

Today was a rainy day in London, so I decided to see 2 shows in the West End: The 39 Steps, and Les Miserables.

The 39 Steps is the play version of the Hitchcock film script, performed by only 4 actors. Thus, there are some very funny moments on stage!

Les Miserables is the classic Victor Hugo story presented by Cameron Mackintosh, at the Queen’s Theatre in London. I really love this story, and musical. It is essentially a story of redemption.

Easy and cheap access to ‘the theatre’ is what I miss most about not living in London any more. From £5 coupon specials, to ‘restricted view’ seats, right up to A grade Stalls seats… you always get great value for money in the historic, small, West End theatres.
