LAB147 Salt and Pepper boys /miners

Salt N Pepper boys- well, maybe that is my dream (now I have looked up the meaning online). However, today I wax lyrical about working in the Salt Miine – with all the new procedures.
Hope you all don’t find it too boring, as I have a bit of a bitch about work. ;-)

Should I chuck a sickie tomorrow?

Before you hit delete, I do also chat about some Uni stuff, my take-home exam, and the exams to come. :-(
OH yeah… I got some really great news on 1 of my essays too. :-)

Question of the day: Why does every New Zilander want to come and live/work in Australia?!

LAB142 Lady Gaga nightly road rage

Friday podcast live from Mong-mongi as I drive home from work. [part 2]
It’s nice having a boyfriend, isn’t it? Even when you have to have a difficult conversation. tricky.

Work at the Dept of Salt is starting to pick up – as I almost have access to their systems.
Oh yeah, my to-and-from work is now going to be filled with ROAD RAGE each day. …maybe I should just catch the bus? :-(

LAB133 불고기 for dinner, yum

Sunday 11/4/10, and perfect weather for a nice Sunday drive with Scotty… thru the mine-field of dating.
After a week of contemplating study, I finally get to catch up with my honey-bunch cuddly-wuddly cutey-petootie boyfriend. I love bulgogi.

Oh yeah, hot news is that I have booked a holiday to Sydney with Roy. Very exciting.

end of the show is a tribute to Arthur’s AmeriNZ podcast, as I chat about visas to Australia.

LAB130 tuff/K-mart Easter – I return

I am back, as U can tell. ;-)
Hear is the first of a couple of recordings I made, in the hope I would come back to podcasting – and ‘certain people’ would not be listening any more.

This show is all about my Easter holidays, with the rellies! It was pretty good, very relaxing, but… my patience was put to the test daily. TOUGH!

Last half of show is me pondering some career options, and ongoing Centrelink dramas.

Hope you enjoy this episode, and it isn’t too K-Mart for you. Click here for MP3

PS- I used Levelator for this podcast, and it is NOT ‘level’.

LAB11X Indo surprise podcast

LAB-artwork purisurprise! Here is a podcast while I am in Indonesia. Aren’t you lucky?
Ride with me in Mong-mongi as I return from Roy’s house, where I had a delicious Korean feast tonight. Yes, bul go-gi.
I also chat about the frustrations of trying to organise our Indo trip today (31 January). Friend’s girlyfriend suddenly re-questioning all we’d planned weeks ago. Urgh

The end of this recording has some secret covert recording of the white trash mothers bitching & shouting at their kids as they sat behind me on the bus last week. Those poor kids, what chance do they have in life?

ps- Are you missing me? ;-)

LAB108 kangaroo kebabs for dinner

LAB-artwork kebabsBurps galore and kangaroo kebabs today. My snazy new suit has been altered, and I am looking HOT. Korean flatmate is in awe at suit alteration shoppe, LOL.
Join me as I walk thru the local shopping centre, and see if you can hear any Aussie accents.
Help me carry my 36 cans of Solo and 36 cans of Pepsi light back to the car before joining me on the ride home.

2 days till our student “moot off” to decide which 4 students will be going on the all-expenses paid trip to Hong Kong and Vienna!
