And, yes, I am sure you are feeling it even more than I did when I had my recent run-in with my University. Urgh.
Sadly, in ‘justice for all’ America, there are NO decent anti-discrimination laws or protections for people like you; who are just carying on their innocent lives outside of work.

Some people are just stoopid, and in the case of small minded dumb-ass Americanos, it has really impacted you now.
So sad to see you disapear off the interwebs. (hope to see you back in your new incarnation SOON).

I received an email today from the lecturers.
It was short and to the point…
Thank you for your message, and for your apology, to us and to the student concerned. We were really pleased with how the team competed… etc etc.

Things still seem kinda weird, and I’m feeling burnt by it all.

Saw the student concerned in class yesterday (not that I know who it is, but there is only 2 possibilities). Really really wanted to go up to her (and the other 2) and say ‘congrats’, and ask all about the trip… But, after all this (& knowing the way people “talk”), I am unsure of the reception from all 3 of them now.
- would be nice if the student conserned would contact ME, and discuss her hurts/feelings, and clear the air.

now, back to essay writing. I have 3 due in next 2.5 weeks

It has come to my attention in recent days that I might need to point this out –

This blog/podcast is both a personal journal and for entertainment. The views expressed within may or may not be those of the author. That is to say some things are very personal and real, and many other things are said purely for entertainment & exageration purposes. Case in point is the titles of some podcasts, that often don’t really relate to the content! [If my life was that factually exciting & drama-filled, I'd be on the front page of OK!, not podcasting.]

While it may seem this is common sense to anyone who has followed this blog (in its few postings), or listened to many long hours of rambling podcasts… it perhaps is not, and needs to be re-stated?!

If you are unable to take anything I have written or said, with a grain of salt, then please sit back, take a deep breath, and switch to decaf.
On a serious note: At the same time, (as has happened a few times), please DO express any concerns or issues with me, in a post comment here online or via email. I am happy to reply.

sorry, no podcast from me for another few days yet…
i’m still sick. fever on & off, coughing non-stop, and generally feeling like total crap.
