Today was a rainy day in London, so I decided to see 2 shows in the West End: The 39 Steps, and Les Miserables.
The 39 Steps is the play version of the Hitchcock film script, performed by only 4 actors. Thus, there are some very funny moments on stage!
Les Miserables is the classic Victor Hugo story presented by Cameron Mackintosh, at the Queen’s Theatre in London. I really love this story, and musical. It is essentially a story of redemption.
Easy and cheap access to ‘the theatre’ is what I miss most about not living in London any more. From £5 coupon specials, to ‘restricted view’ seats, right up to A grade Stalls seats… you always get great value for money in the historic, small, West End theatres.
