LAB111 Law Abiding [gay Malaysian] Citizen

LABLaw abiding citizen – that’s me folks. I went on a non-date with a Malay guy from Uni last night. Yes, we saw the new movie with Gerard Butler in it. Quite an interesting movie – not all like I expected.
Again, like the other times I’ve hung out with him, there was some weird ‘vibes’ and chemistry going on. So confusing.

Have a great weekend everyone!

LAB109 PS3 Great Wall + V1S shoot out

LABMong-mongi is hanging in there for another day as I drive to Doug’s place to play PlayStation3 with him. I need some ‘veg time’ after delivering my 10min oral presentation for Vis moot student ‘moot off’ today.
I have a 4 in 13 chance of being selected, so there IS a vague chance of me being selected.
I wore my new suit today, so I was looking damn professional and HOT in the city today. Oh, and literally ‘hot’ too, cause it was stinking hot in Brisbane today. Gee wearing a suit & tie is a bugger in this tropical heat.
Homeward bound for part 2, after i feel rather bloated from a strawberry shake at Hungry Jacks. *barf*
Oh, and what do you think about the new cheapo Chinese cars; Great Wall?

you can click here and listen to MP3 if you like

Happy Australia Day!

“The tradition of noticing 26 January began early in the nineteenth century with Sydney almanacs referring to First Landing Day or Foundation Day. That was the day in 1788 Captain Arthur Phillip, commander of the First Fleet of eleven convict ships from Great Britain and the first governor of New South Wales, arrived at Sydney Cove. The raising of the Union Jack there symbolised British occupation of the eastern half of the continent claimed by Captain James Cook on 22 August in 1770.
Aboriginal Australians have continued to feel excluded from what has long been a British pioneering settler celebration, symbolised by the raising of the Union Jack and later the Australian flag which bears the British flag. Debate over the date and nature of Australia Day continues as the National Australia Day Council seeks to meet the challenge of making 26 January a day all Australians can accept and enjoy.”

While today may well be the day that we ‘remember’ that the Brits invaded this land and started a long history of killing the black fellas, it is hopefully also a day of celebrating this nation as a whole; a nation full of all sorts of people.

LAB107 Vissed out heart-throb

LABV1S moot (written) is over and I am feeling very good now. Yesterday (Friday 22 Jan), we had a meeting to find out what was involved in going overseas for the moot oral comp., in Hong Kong & Vienna. Oh, and I went up the coast with my honey-bunch-cutesy-wootsy boyfriend, Roy. Oh, and his 2 flatmates. It was a nice afternoon at Caloundra.
Saturday I went suit shopping in the city with Roy. I need a suit for the ‘moot off’ on Wednesday, and eventually – when I have job interviews OR go o/s for the moot.
