It is so nice to live in a country that does NOT have tipping! Also, my Philippino bride starts the 48hr detox (briefly).
I kinda just have a bitch about my new roomie, and some of the strange goings on at home. Someone is becoming a little bit clingy!
Getting a lot of ‘guilt trip’ statements from my poor lonely Pinoy flatmate… she really needs a good man. (oh, and it’s NOT me).
The parents are down for the weekend too. I chat about our cookie-cutter Bradyesque family ties. LOL

May I be the first to congratulate you on your marriage to an overweight jalapeno woman or was it philipenjo woman that has irritable bowel syndrome.
It must be a very happy time for both of you.
LOL
Her charms managed to turn you from the devils ways after all this time.
LOL
It must have been a proud day for your father, though of course he never saw the ceremony, he was outside having a smoke.
Take care, where do I send the wedding presents and do they have a money back period? In case you stray with those roofers across the road.

Yes, tipping is way out of control in the U.S. There are tip jars everywhere. In Canada, the tipping is less mandatory but still annoying. Rather than paying people a decent wage, managers of these places expect customers to make up the difference or feel guilty.
